language and culture. On this page, you will find information on the Associations that
offer Italian language courses in Montreal, Laval and the South Shore, as well as useful
(institutional) and interesting (on Italy and its history) websites.
The PICAI is an Association that offers Italian language courses on Saturday
mornings to children and young teens aged from 4 to 16 years old, as well as for adults
on Saturday mornings or during the week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
evenings.
Courses are distributed in 18 schools in the Montreal area, Laval and the South Shore
The PICAI also organizes Italian language courses during the afternoon in 4 Montreal
and Laval schools.

Course programs:
All of the language course programs is available for consultation on the website
For the educational activities, to the children attending kindergarten and 1st grade (4-
5-6 years old), an agenda will be provided, especially prepared by the teachers.
To children and teenagers aged between 7 and 16 years old will be provided: textbook,
workbook and an agenda.
Students taking Italian language courses from Secondary 1 to 5 will be given 8
complimentary credits.
The Italian Institute is the ideal place to learn Italian and get acquainted with
the Italian culture. The “all
italian” environment and teachers of italian mothertongue, highly qualified, will enable
you to live a
moment of complete immersion inside the Italian world.
Courses are aimed for adults.
